About
Located in southeastern Wisconsin, we started in 1973 as a small tool and cutter grinding shop that progressed with industry. Through the years we obtained a reputation as a company that could solve the problem and excelled in prototype tooling concepts. We manufacture special lengths, multiple diameters, carbide-tipped and solid carbide tools. The majority of our business partners are in the automotive, aerospace, marine and mining industries.
Throughout our catalog you will find the standard as well as the out-of-the-ordinary tool. Our main objective is to pass along a quality and economical tool that will get the job done. One of the ways we do this is by using standard inserts in our cutters. Time and time again larger companies will often give away the steel bodies, but charge exorbitant prices on the carbide inserts that only fit in their cutters. Our philosophy is that this only helps the carbide company and not the user who has a bottom line to think about.
Strongly shown is one of our mainstays in industry; the M-Series modular patented design. The unique properties of this line are the trademark of the Lindsay name. This modular design not only saves time in changeover, but also gives you the flexibility to have 18 negative or positive rake cutters in one. If the unfortunate "deeper than normal" cut happens, 7 out of 10 times only the nest need replacing - saving the entire steel body.
